The Strength In Serving Others

Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.

Romans 15:2 KJV

Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?” We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. We are not to please ourselves and live in pleasures but find pleasures in bringing others to the lord and loving one another. We are meant to be sent to build one another and lift one another up not be the main pedestal and center of attention. The attention belongs to God through the help of us leading other to him through love and faith.

  1. We should offer a constant life of sacrifice to our Father God, as you rightly point out this sacrifice should be in service and love. Always for Him and not ourselves. Thank you for the encouragement, may God Almighty bless you.
