3 For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear.
A time is coming where boastful proudness will be the normal ways. People will turn to their own pleasure and knowledge instead of looking for true teachings anymore. They will only listen to the teachings they want to hear not what teachings are true that they need to hear. Much of what they will hear will be false teachers and teachings instead of hearing and listening to the true word of Christ. So be prepared to recognize as false teaching from a true teaching for it will come. It will happen and has already begun to happen.
