By His Stripes

who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

1 Peter 2:24 NKJV

1 Peter 2:24 New Living Translation (NLT)

24

He personally carried our sins

in his body on the cross

so that we can be dead to sin

and live for what is right.

By his wounds

you are healed.

For he who took sins from the world carrying our sins to death upon the cross and torture of his flesh so that our sins we once carried died that we may have a peaceful, faith filled, righteous life. Healed by his death on the cross and brutal wounds he suffered. Christ took it all so that we may live, love and be filled in faith to our father in heaven. By his stripes you were saved.

Love One Another

Love One Another the greatest of all teachings

John 15:1-17

The Vine and the Branches

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

I am the true vine, and my father is the gardener. As the vinedresser he cuts off every part of me that bears bad fruit in sin, while the parts of me that bear fruit and flourish shall be even more abundant in fruit. Each of you is already clean in these words i have spoken to you. Remain in me and follow my lead and i also shall remain in you. No piece of me can bear good fruit on its own; it must grow as part in the vine. Neither can you live in the spirit but in me.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. 11 I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. 12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. 15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. 17 This is my command: Love each other.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you shall follow my command you will have much in abundance. Yet if you don’t follow in my commandments you are like a branch that is thrown away and has withered and died these branches are picked up in piles and tossed amongst a fire to burn. If you shall remain in me and my studies in you, ask of your desires and it shall be given to you. This is my father’s glory, that you flourish and prosper bearing much fruit and showing that you are my followers, my disciples.

As my father has remained my guidance and shown faithfully his love to me, so have i also loved you so let me be your guidance also. If you keep in my word you will remain in my love, as i have kept my father’s commands and remained fruitful in love in him. I have shared this with you that my joy shall be in you and that you be filled completely in joy. I say to you this: love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this:to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. For you shall be my friends if you follow my words. I no longer shall call you servants , because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that my father have given me and taught me i have also taught you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.

The father wants us to remain in Christ as he has remained in the work of the father’s guidance. That we may learn the true example of love. Having a love relationship in him. He wants us to grow with and in him and his father as he has grown with his father. Christ wants is to have abundance of things we request of and from him that he will provide us with every need. He wants a true loving faithful relationship in him that he may teach us of his father’s word and his teachings and share the gospel stories with others. He doesn’t only want to be a mentor but also our friend in an intimate relationship in him. He wants to share all his knowledge that he was taught to teach us as he was by his father. Jesus wants to share all this and more with us so that we may be an example of god’s self and love and know love. For Jesus said “This is my command: love one another”

Christ In Our Place

I think this IS the perfect name for this passage not only because the NKJV used it in the Bible but because of the act of love 💕 that was truly done to save an entire world and multitude of people out of love so I also am going to call this writing I am doing for you as a Child of God to learn from.

Romans 5:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)

Christ in Our Place

6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Another translation explains it this way

Romans 5:6-8 New Living Translation (NLT)

6 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

Just something to ponder over that though we are still sinners God has protected us from the wrongs we have done by sending his son to die for the ungodly on the cross when we were powerless. I ask you to ponder this for a moment, would you honestly die on a cross for someone most answer that they wouldn’t. Though Jesus had no option to choose not to as God had spoken with him over the circumstances and told him that he had to die to save all is as sinners. Out of his faithful love towards us as his children God sent his son to die for us while we were still sinners.

God loves us so much that he sacrificed his very own son for all his children in the world.

In this Christ had to die in the cross though to save us from our own sin, although he promised to rise again. Dieing out of unfailing love for one is a strong sacrifice however Christ died for all of us that’s an even larger and the ultimate sacrifice that only God knew he could do. In his death Christ paid for our sin. For this I am very grateful as I know I may say to another I love you so much I’d die for you though I question if I would really be able to bring actions upon that statement. God knew his son would because of the faithful loving relationship that he and his father had together. Most likely if that would ever actually happen where I was in the actual situation of contemplating if I would faithfully out of love truly go through death for another. Although I do not know the answer most likely I wouldn’t be able to successfully go through with the actions as much as we speak it in our hearts saying the statement that I’d die to save you or I’d die for you if I had to. If I ever came to that actual situation I don’t know if I could go through that, however God knew that his son was that Jesus would be obedient out of faithfulness and love to his father. In this saving us all as sinners. Would you be able to make that ultimate sacrifice for now or even a multitude of people out of love to save them? Most would answer this question no which is expected and only God new that which is why he chose his Son and sacrificed something so precious to him for the love of his other children. Only his sacrifice could cleanse us making us pure and whole. That is the kind of live Jesus had in him and in his father and for us. That is the kind of loving father God is. That would be the hardest thing anyone but Jesus could ever do and go through with.

The Way To The Father In Jesus

Do not be worried and upset,” Jesus told them. “Believe in God and believe also in me.

There are many rooms in my Father’s house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I would not tell you this if it were not so.

And after I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to myself, so that you will be where I am

You know the way that leads to the place where I am going.”

Do not fear or worry Jesus had said

Believe in God and have faith in he and in I

for there are many rooms in my father’s house

I shall prepare a chamber for you

I would not say this if it were not to be

I shall come and return to take you there myself so that you will be there where I am

You know the way that leads to the place where I shall go

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going; so how can we know the way to get there?”

Jesus answered him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one goes to the Father except by me.

Now that you have known me,” he said to them, “you will know my Father also, and from now on you do know him and you have seen him.”

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father; that is all we need.”

Jesus answered, “For a long time I have been with you all; yet you do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. Why, then, do you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Do you not believe, Philip, that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I have spoken to you,” Jesus said to his disciples, “do not come from me. The Father, who remains in me, does his own work.

Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. If not, believe because of the things I do.

I am telling you the truth: those who believe in me will do what I do—yes, they will do even greater things, because I am going to the Father.

And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Father’s glory will be shown through the Son. 14If you ask me for anything in my name, I will do it.

If you love me, you will obey my commandments.

I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Accomplice, who will stay with you forever. 17He is the that I’m Spirit the holy spirit, who reveals the truth about God. The world cannot receive him, because it cannot see him or know him. But you know him, because he remains with you and is in you.

When I go, you will not be left all alone; I will come back to you. O will not orphan or abandon you

In a little while the world will see me no more, but you will see me; and because I live, you also will live.

When that day comes, you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me, just as I am in you.

“Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. My Father will love those who love me; I too will love them and reveal myself to them.”

Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, “Lord, how can it be that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?”

Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and my Father and I will come to them and live with them.

Those who do not love me do not obey my teaching. And the teaching you have heard is not mine, but comes from the Father, who sent me.

I have told you this while I am still with you.

The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

You heard me say to you, ‘I am leaving, but I will come back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father; for he is greater than I.

I have told you this now before it all happens, so that when it does happen, you will believe.

I cannot talk with you much longer, because the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me,

but the world must know that I love the Father; that is why I do everything as he commands me.

“Come, let us go from this place.

The Light Of God’s Glory

Hebrews 1:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

3

who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

The son of God is the light of God’s glory and an exact image of who he is. Strengthening and supporting all things by his promises written in his word. When he cleansed and purified is from our sins he sat down at the right hand of the father above.

Jesus the son of man is the light of his father in the exact image of God, upholding all things by the word of his power when he himself had purges us of our sins and took favor and honor in the presence of the almighty God in heaven.

Seek The Lord

Prepare for the return of Jesus by following His instruction.

“Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the Lord’s anger” Zephaniah 2:3

Seek the Lord, all who are humble and true in Christ that follow his commands.

Seek to do what is right

and to live humbly. Living in and by truth.

Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you—

He shall protect you from his anger on that day of destruction. The day of his return. Be ready or he will leave you behind.

Safe In The Son

For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Romans 5:10 NKJV

we where once gods enemies but he made us his friends through the death of his son on the cross and now that we are gods friends much more will we be saved by christ
For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. Imagine how much more good would come out of life in his son.

In Faith I Wait

Psalm 130:5 New King James Version (NKJV)

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope.

The lord promised his return one day and in that we can have comfort. Till then psalm 130 verse 5 says
I wait for the lord, my soul waits, and in his word I do hope.
Otherwise saying I have faith in the knowledge knowing of his words that I shall wait for him, as with my whole being to wait and in his word he has written and that of what he has said I put my hope.
As believers we have knowledge knowing of his return and the gift of everlasting life in faith with Christ that we look generously forward to the day of his return and the promise of being with him in this we have our whole self in faith waiting.

Acceptance Of Truth

1 Corinthians 5:11
But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—not even to eat with such a person.

you should not associate with a person who calls himself a believer but is immoral or greedy or worships idols or is a slanderer or a drunkard or a thief. This is the kind of person whom is a hypocrite and unyoked person the Lord says don’t even sit down to eat with such a person.

Romans 11:15
For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

For when they were rejected, all other people were changed from God’s enemies into his friends. What will it be, then, when they are accepted? It will be life for the dead! To be saved and born again in Christ

1 Timothy 1:15
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

This is a true saying, to be completely accepted and believed: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. I am the worst of them
He came into the world to be accepted by a small group of friends and followers(his deciples) to teach them his views and to die for all mankind’s sins. To save you and I. As Paul states he is worst of them
