“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.”
“Who can understand the human heart? There is nothing else so deceitful; it is too sick to be healed. I, the Lord, search the minds and test the hearts of people. I treat each of them according to the way they live, according to what they do.”
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”
The heart is the most deceitful thing there is and desperately wicked. No one can really know how bad it is! Only the Lord knows! He searches all hearts and examines deepest motives so he can give to each person his right reward, according to his deeds—how he has lived.
“The heart is hopelessly dark and deceitful, a puzzle that no one can figure out. But I, God, search the heart and examine the mind. I get to the heart of the human. I get to the root of things. I treat them as they really are, not as they pretend to be.”
God tells us in Psalm 139
Psalm 139
For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
1
You have searched me, Lord,
and you know me.
2
You know when I sit and when I rise;
you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3
You discern my going out and my lying down;
you are familiar with all my ways.
4
Before a word is on my tongue
you, Lord, know it completely.
5
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me.
6
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too lofty for me to attain.
7
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
8
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
11
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
12
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
13
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
17
How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand—
when I awake, I am still with you.
19
If only you, God, would slay the wicked!
Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
20
They speak of you with evil intent;
your adversaries misuse your name.
21
Do I not hate those who hate you, Lord,
and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
22
I have nothing but hatred for them;
I count them my enemies.
23
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
God knows everything there is to know about us in all aspects and views we can not hide anything from him. Nothing of the mind in thought. Nothing spoken. Nothing done. God knows it all. We are to live in Godly lifestyle that honors him. Though living truly like the spirit is so hard for we as humans still sin. Our Mind is the hardest to overcome with Satan always filling it with deceitful temptations and obstacles of evil, lies and deceit. The heart is full of love and leads your gut but it’s the most deceitful of all. The Bible says in Jerimiah
“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.”
For God knows all our inner sources and even if we try to hide away something from him we cannot. The lord search’s us like a database in a system he finds all the flaws and works of evil and puts up our offense against us for the punishment he sees fit. He gives each one the rewards he sees for the works of good deeds they have done all in accountability of what he sees they deserve as only God can do. Our heart is a work of art, a touch of the master’s hand it can be a beautiful loving place filled with peace. However it is also the most dangerous and difficult place as well filled with lines of temptation and deceit of you.
For it tells all your inner truth about you and your inner soul it shows God weather you are sincere or fake it’s no disguise God knows from the heart of your dishonest and a fake. How bad is the human heart really? That is a question needing to be re-examined of all exams run upon our heart. Are you honestly living in a godly way pleasing to God and sincere in all you do? Or are you living out of deceitful actions trying to hide the real you which you can not do. Examine yourself in all you do safe yourself and your heart which deceives you. Ask God to guide you and change you if you’re walk with him is not as pure as possible. He is always Accepting of you and willing to help you if asked. Just ask and give him the chance not only for him, but also for you. God can test a person’s mind and decide what each one should have. He can give each person the right payment for what they’ve acted upon. This is how we then come to the understanding of
Jeremiah 17:9-10
jere 17:9-10
Nothing can hide its evil as well as the human mind. It can be very sick, and no one really understands it. But I am the Lord, and I can look into a person’s heart. I can test a person’s mind and decide what each one should have. I can give each person the right payment for what they do.
“The human heart is the most deceitful of all things, and desperately wicked. Who really knows how bad it is? But I, the Lord, search all hearts and examine secret motives. I give all people their due rewards, according to what their actions deserve.”
