The Measure Of Prayer and Eternal Life
1 John 5:14-15 The Message (MSG)
The Reality, Not the Illusion
13-15 My purpose in writing is simply this: that you who believe in God’s Son will know beyond the shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life, the reality and not the illusion. And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he’s listening. And if we’re confident that he’s listening, we know that what we’ve asked for is as good as ours.
My purpose in sharing this writing with you is simple that if you believe in God’s Son will beyond all knowledge will prepare you eternal life for he promised that, this is the reality not an illusion.
It states that in John 17 verse 3 this
John 17:3 New Living Translation (NLT)
3 And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth.
so that everyone who believes in him will have eternal life.
And how fearless and free we become in his presence open and free in the mind willingly asking according to his will, knowing ghat he is listening. If we are confident he is listening, know that what we requested in His name shall be given as ours. He promises what we ask we shall receive.
You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy.
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
For Jesus will not make you allow you to be in despair and overwhelmed knowing that you’re in need of something you ask and let down by him for always comes through even if not right away.
Romans 12:12 New International Version (NIV)
12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
NLT
12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
Romans 12:12-13 The Message (MSG)
11-13 Don’t burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Don’t quit in hard times; pray all the harder. Help needy Christians; be inventive in hospitality.
Do not let your fire that burns singe and don’t allow oneself to wear a shadow, keep yourselves fueled and burning. Be alert servants of the Master, cheerfully expectant. Do not give up and turn from hard times; do not walk away instead pray more fervent prayers and even harder. He needy Christians; be inventive and abundant in hospitality.
In thus we go back to 1 John again which says
1 John 5:14-15 New Living Translation (NLT)
14 And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. 15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
So always ask even if you don’t receive an answer immediately he will provide to your needs.
