Stand For Jesus NOT The Law Of The World

Matthew 10:32-34

Matthew 10:32-34 New Living Translation (NLT)

32 “Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. 33 But everyone who denies me here on earth, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.

34 “Don’t imagine that I came to bring peace to the earth! I came not to bring peace, but a sword.

Matthew 10:32-34 Good News Translation (GNT)

Confessing and Rejecting Christ

32 “Those who declare publicly that they belong to me, I will do the same for them before my Father in heaven. 33 But those who reject me publicly, I will reject before my Father in heaven.

Not Peace, but a Sword

34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the world. No, I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.

Matthew 10:32-37 The Message (MSG)

32-33 “Stand up for me against world opinion and I’ll stand up for you before my Father in heaven. If you turn tail and run, do you think I’ll cover for you?

34-37 “Don’t think I’ve come to make life cozy. I’ve come to cut—make a sharp knife-cut between son and father, daughter and mother, bride and mother-in-law—cut through these cozy domestic arrangements and free you for God. Well-meaning family members can be your worst enemies. If you prefer father or mother over me, you don’t deserve me. If you prefer son or daughter over me, you don’t deserve me.

Matthew 10:32-37

If you stand before others and are willing to say you believe in me, then I will tell my Father in heaven that you belong to me. But if you stand before others and say you do not believe in me, then I will tell my Father in heaven that you do not belong to me.

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace. I came to bring trouble. I have come to make this happen:A son will turn against his father. A daughter will turn against her mother.A daughter-in-law will turn against her mother-in-law. Even members of your own family will be your enemies.

Those who love their father or mother more than they love me are not worthy of me. And those who love their son or daughter more than they love me are not worthy of me.

For those who follow the son shall be brought to heaven by the father by the good words Christ speaks with his father in heaven on our behalf. Speak unto others about Christ and you will be known by the father that you belong to the son. However if you do not speak of knowing him and you denounce his name the father will know you as unfaithful and you will not be welcomed into heaven with the father

Do not think that Christ was brought to us for peaceful fun rather he cane for by the sword to cause commotions. Family members will turn against family members. Friends against friends. If you can’t accept any of these over Christ he is not worthy for you and you don’t deserve him that’s not my words but the words of Jesus whom spoke them.

Promises Rooted In Love

[ Psalm 91 ] Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Psalm 91:1 NLT

[ God Our Protector ] Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,

Psalm 91:1 GNT

You who sit down in the High God’s presence, spend the night in Shaddai’s shadow, Say this: “God, you’re my refuge. I trust in you and I’m safe!” That’s right—he rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you— under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm. Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you. You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses. Yes, because God’s your refuge, the High God your very own home, Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they’ll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling. You’ll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

Psalm 91:1 MSG

[ Psalm 91 ] Those who live in the presence of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection.

Although he is currently within his kingdom of the high heavens he has promise to still be with us and to protect us. For those who believe will live in his presence, and be covered by his shadow of protection he has always promised and given us, who continues to give to us. He rescues us from hidden traps not even we know, he interviens even when we are unaware, he takes all life throws at us even if we can not handle it on our own.he shields us from deadly disease and that which is meant to harm us. He wraps us up in the comport of his love in his open arms that cover us. He keep you in armed in all he does. He will do it for all costs out of his rooted love for us.

A Kingdom That Is Unshakable

Hebrews 12:28 New Living Translation (NLT)

28 Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.

Hebrews 12:28 Good News Translation (GNT)

28 Let us be thankful, then, because we receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Let us be grateful and worship God in a way that will please him, with reverence and awe;

Hebrews 12:28-29 The Message (MSG)

28-29 Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. He’s actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn, and he won’t quit until it’s all cleansed. God himself is Fire!

God performed the most sacrifice give that ever was and he did it for all by death on the cross in all we do we should be thankful for he provides us with a kingdom that is unshakable and unmoved. Let us be grateful and live a life of praise and worship to his name that we may please him in honor and reverence in his name

Ephesians 4:1 New Living Translation (NLT)

Unity in the Body

4 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God.

Ephesians 4:1 Good News Translation (GNT)

The Unity of the Body

4 I urge you, then—I who am a prisoner because I serve the Lord: live a life that measures up to the standard God set when he called you.

Ephesians 4:1-3 The Message (MSG)

To Be Mature

4 1-3 In light of all this, here’s what I want you to do. While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk—better yet, run!—on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline—not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences.

When God created us we each were created in unique purpose and each of is given a porpoise of our own God calls us to live according to his will or purpose. To live in a godly manner to that calling and purpose.

Exposing other to the story of Christ and sharing the gospel with others done in love so that they know God’s love. So this out of honor and done in a humble disciplined way for others to see the real godly way in you.

Philippians 1:11 New Living Translation (NLT)

11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ[a]—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

Philippians 1:11 Good News Translation (GNT)

11 Your lives will be filled with the truly good qualities which only Jesus Christ can produce, for the glory and praise of God.

Philippians 1:11 The Message (MSG)

9-11 So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of: bountiful in fruits from the soul, making Jesus Christ attractive to all, getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.

Newfound Strength In The Lord

Isaiah 40:31 New Living Translation (NLT)

31

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.

They will soar high on wings like eagles.

They will run and not grow weary.

They will walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31 Good News Translation (GNT)

31

But those who trust in the Lord for help

    will find their strength renewed.

They will rise on wings like eagles;

    they will run and not get weary;

they will walk and not grow weak.

Isaiah 40:31 The Message (MSG)

27-31

Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,

    or, whine, Israel, saying,

“God has lost track of me.

He doesn’t care what happens to me”?

Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening?

God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.

He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.

He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.

And he knows everything, inside and out.

He energizes those who get tired,

    gives fresh strength to dropouts.

For even young people tire and drop out,

young folk in their prime stumble and fall.

But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.

They spread their wings and soar like eagles,

They run and don’t get tired,

they walk and don’t lag behind.

In the last post I spoke about believing and worshipping by the Spirit and Truth of what it is you know and believe in faith in God. Believing in God you are putting your full trust and hope and life in God’s care. Those who trust in the Lord for help will be refreshed in truth, strength, knowledge and life. They will be as high as the heavens rising on clouds like wings like eagles soaring high above the land.

They will run and advance not growing weary or faint but have motivation to stay strong and keep going on. They walk in honor and follow faithfully not growing bored or tired or in loss of interest. They’re faith will empower and grow stronger in the godly ways the more they honor and believe. God will never turn away or turn his back on his children. He promises to walk and guide us throughout every journey we surpass in life. To accept us through our wrong doings and sin. We are never better than Christ, but we are always bettering each other and ourselves in believing the truth of Jesus around us as we believe. He only promises that if we be in relationship with him that we will guide us in the way best for us and who we are making us rise amongst the heavens and put upon pedestals. We are all loved so deeply and intimately in a way we could never outrun, however with a kind of love so strong and personal and perfect who would want to. God Promises to always be with us in all things.throughout it all he never grows tired or gives up he is always on task in love.

Worship Of Spirit And Truth

John 4:24 New Living Translation (NLT)

24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.”

John 4:24 The Message (MSG)

23-24 “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”

God is Spirit, to understand this you must understand that right now God is unseen. So those who follow him and worship him must also worship in spirit and truth. This means worship to be done in believing what we are taught and trusting the facts and worshiping in spirit and truth of the unknown and the known. For now until Christ’s return back upon earth. We worship in belief as believers and hear him speak to us in experience. He will never turn us away especially when we ask of him for things and you will see the answers when he is ready to expose them to you and the time is right. You will see them in miracles or personal experiences but it is not always seen and yet we still believe. That’s the way it is that we worship. In knowledge that he is always listening and always near and always around us. He guides us in our own ways meant for only us in our own journeys. Not everyone’s story is the same but the story of Jesus in whom we believe and put our trust and worship. This is how it is done in spirit and truth.

Teach Your Children In Godly ways- In Respect

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord.

Ephesians 6:4 NLT

Parents, do not treat your children in such a way as to make them angry. Instead, raise them with Christian discipline and instruction.

Ephesians 6:4 GNT

Fathers, don’t exasperate your children by coming down hard on them. Take them by the hand and lead them in the way of the Master.

Ephesians 6:4 MSG

Teach your children the way to be respectful of elders and one another. To love and care for one another. Do not treat them with disrespect or in such ways that it instigates your child to become angered for they will only treat others as they have been taught. If you treat your children in hostile inappropriate ways that is how they will live and it usually comes out in anger and violence rather than respect and good. However if they learn respect than they will respect the world and everything in it filling it with kindness. So instead treat your children with respect and raise the in a non hostile environment with gentle discipline and instruction of a godly nature and a Christian life take them by the hand and show them in the plain actions how to love one another and be loved so that when they rise and grow they will not treat others in hostility and anger leading to acts of violence. Teach them to be in God’s image as he would teach. Jesus wouldn’t want to see it any other way, and he’d frown down upon it. It all begins at birth and how the mother and father teach their children. Discipline with Christian faith and love.raising the in good.

Sing To The Father

Sing praises to God and to his name! Sing loud praises to him who rides the clouds. His name is the Lord— rejoice in his presence! Father to the fatherless, defender of widows— this is God, whose dwelling is holy.

Psalm 68:4-5 NLT

Sing to God, sing praises to his name; prepare a way for him who rides on the clouds. His name is the Lord—be glad in his presence! God, who lives in his sacred Temple, cares for orphans and protects widows.

Psalm 68:4-5 GNT

[ A David Psalm ] Up with God! Down with his enemies! Adversaries, run for the hills! Gone like a puff of smoke, like a blob of wax in the fire— one look at God and the wicked vanish. When the righteous see God in action they’ll laugh, they’ll sing, they’ll laugh and sing for joy. Sing hymns to God; all heaven, sing out; clear the way for the coming of Cloud-Rider. Enjoy God, cheer when you see him! Father of orphans, champion of widows, is God in his holy house. God makes homes for the homeless, leads prisoners to freedom, but leaves rebels to rot in hell.

Psalm 68:4-5 MSG

Be glad and sing songs of joy when you come soon God. The wicked disappear at his coming. When the godly see him in action they rejoice in joy and sing praise to him loud and clear for all to hear. He is the father to orphans and the fatherless, protects the widows, provides homes for the homeless and freedom to the prisoners. But leaves the rioters in the dark of hell. He does not atone the violence and ungodly though he shows favor to orphans and the god fearing. Be glad in his presence.

The Lord Is Father To His Children

The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

Psalm

As a father is kind to his children, so the Lord is kind to those who honor him.

Psalm 103:13 GNT

God makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet. He showed Moses how he went about his work, opened up his plans to all Israel. God is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love. He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. And as far as sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. As parents feel for their children, God feels for those who fear him. He knows us inside and out, keeps in mind that we’re made of mud. Men and women don’t live very long; like wildflowers they spring up and blossom, But a storm snuffs them out just as quickly, leaving nothing to show they were here. God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him, Making everything right for them and their children as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said.

Psalm 103:13 MSG

God loves all of us as his very own children, as a father to a child it bears Joy unto him and honor to those who live in godly ways and are god fearing. For he created each of us.

Genesis 3:19

By the sweat of your brow will you have food to eat until you return to the ground from which you were made. For you were made from dust, and to dust you will return.”

Job 10:9-12 The Message (MSG)

8-12

“You made me like a handcrafted piece of pottery—

and now are you going to smash me to pieces?

Don’t you remember how beautifully you worked my clay?

Will you reduce me now to a mud pie?

Oh, that marvel of conception as you stirred together

    semen and ovum—

What a miracle of skin and bone,

    muscle and brain!

You gave me life itself, and incredible love.

You watched and guarded every breath I took.

Genesis 3:19 The Message (MSG)

17-19 He told the Man:

“Because you listened to your wife

    and ate from the tree

That I commanded you not to eat from,

    ‘Don’t eat from this tree,’

The very ground is cursed because of you;

    getting food from the ground

Will be as painful as having babies is for your wife;

you’ll be working in pain all your life long.

The ground will sprout thorns and weeds,

you’ll get your food the hard way,

Planting and tilling and harvesting,

sweating in the fields from dawn to dusk,

Until you return to that ground yourself, dead and buried;

you started out as dirt, you’ll end up dirt.”

He doesn’t hold us in ransom for our debts and wrongs of sin we all falter with instead he loves us and gives us lessons to learn and pushes us hard to be better the best we can be. He puts it out very bluntly, honestly, with love and all very loud and clear. God is pure grace and compassion. He does not show anger often for he is peaceful in his mannerisms and still in his guiding spirit. He puts those of torture and tragedies on a pedestal in front of him bringing them out of the darkness they hide in. He has separated us from one thing for the good of ourselves, that is sin. God puts everything where it belongs that he sees fit and makes all right. Since we were still in our mother’s womb he already knew who we were, the plans he had for us he’d hope we’d follow. He knew all about us knowing us inside and out. In an image of him he created us as a father would see his child. He doesn’t treat us as our sins deserve, nor pay us back in full for our wrongs. As high as heaven is over the earth, so strong is his love to those who fear him. God’s love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him, Making everything right for them and their children as they follow his Covenant ways and remember to do whatever he said.

“The appeals made to him were blessed by the Spirit of God. His life was spared, and proved the reality of his conversion.”

“As a father pitieth his children. The father pitieth his children that are weak in knowledge, and instructs them; pities them when they are froward, and bears with them; pities them when they are sick, and comforts them; when they are fallen, and helps them up again; when they have offended, and upon their submission, forgives them; when they are wronged, and rights them. Thus “the Lord pitieth them that fear him”

A good parent does not turn his child away or turn his back on then for his wrongs as The father also does not turn you away or shun you for your sins. He stays true to you throughout it all and stand there by your side teaching you and holding you close in love.

As a father is kind to his children, so the Lord is kind to those who honor him.

Psalm 103:13 GNT

Living In The Eyes Of A NonJudgmental God

John 3:16-18 Good News Translation (GNT)

16 For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its savior.18 Those who believe in the Son are not judged; but those who do not believe have already been judged, because they have not believed in God’s only Son.

18 Those who believe in the Son are not judged; but those who do not believe have already been judged, because they have not believed in God’s only Son.

God loved us so much he gave forth his only son by death on the cross for his son to become our savior, the world’s savior. God did not send his son to criticize or judge any of us however those who are skeptical or lost and do not believe have already been judged because they do not believe. God only wants love for us and from us for he is an all loving God. He does not hide his love in public. He will not abandon us, he will not be judgmental or practice judging anyone in anyway. Many of us in the world make conclusions about others even after knowing them. They judge them on several different subjects and issues. Sometimes on ethnicity or humanity. I God’s eyes judging is not acceptable, he will not judge or be hateful towards others. He only wants acceptance and love from us. Leave the justices of wrongful acts and sins come to be in the end before Christ that he decides and declares our fates. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that all who believe in him shall not die but live. Living with him in eternal life.
