But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.

When you pass upon trials of deep waters in the storms I will be with you and when you walk through the calm of rivers no trouble shall overcome you they shall not overwhelm you
We are children of God
I am a child of God
YOU are a child chosen by the king
No harm shall overcome you for you are strengthened and protected you r chains are broken down by ransom of amazing grace of Jesus blood and God’s great design

Verse Thoughts
Despite Israel’s unbelief and apostasy God has never forsaken His people but this promise to the Jewish nation is equally relevant to church age believers, for we too have been created by the Lord – we are a new creation in Christ, children of God, members of Christ’s body and ambassadors of heaven. These words of comfort, spoken by God to the nation of Israel, can equally be applied to Christians today – Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.
It is said throughout the Scripture that the phrase “fear not” appears 366 times – one for each day of the year and one for leap year but whenever God sees fit to repeat the words, “fear not” so frequently, should we not pay heed to His command? We are not to fear, for though we were dead in our sins and eternally separated from the Lord, He has redeemed us with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. WE have been bought with a price – and the required redemption price for our souls was the life of Christ, poured out for us at Calvary by our kinsman-redeemer – and the price has been paid in FULL.
It is said in Scripture that God knows every star by name – but we are His children and the sheep of His pasture. He bought us with a price, so God can rightfully declare, you are MINE. Indeed, He not only knows us each by name, but He also calls us by name, for He is the good Shepherd of the sheep, Who gave His life for His little flock. He knew us before we were born and scheduled each day of our lives. He knows the number of hairs on our head and collects our tears in a bottle…

Verse Thoughts
The Lord has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, no matter what life my throw at us. We are redeemed by the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We have been bought with a price and we belong to the Father and His favour is upon all His children. He has promised to cover us with His gentle calm and protect us by His perfect peace, when our hearts rest in Him.
We have an assurance that the promises of God’s protection and His help are available for all who trust in the His name. The children of Israel walked through the Red Sea on dry land and yet the same waters submerged the enemies of the Lord. The flames that were heated seven time hotter did not singe a single thread on the garments of Daniel’s three companions – and yet they consumed those that would throw them into the flames.
The children of Israel faced a physical enemy and God protected them. We face a spiritual enemy, but His protection and help is equally sure and steadfast for all who are called by His name. Let us trust God at His word – let us believe what God has said and rest in the knowledge that it is the God of the universe Who says to each one of us – When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you. When rivers of difficulty swirl around, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up and the fiery flames will not consume you.
