However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
But I reckon my own life to be worth nothing to me; I only want to complete my mission and finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do, which is to declare the Good News about the grace of God.
Our lives are not our own they are the works of God lead by God completed by us. We shouldn’t think anything of potential normal life only God’s law and teachings and a godly favored life is what is important. Finishing and completing God’s will is what should matter to us. The only goal being to complete the mission God has given us and finish what he started in us by telling the work of news about the wonderful grace of God letting others know the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. God is not here to give you life and judge you for your way that you live it’s journey, but to teach you of God’s word and grace and for you to share the knowledge of his life journey with you and you with others. Our story is only a small focus of the much larger picture of his life.
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me telling others the Goody the Lord Jesus—the work of News about the wonderful grace of God.
Written in Luke’s letter to the people speaking of the good works done of God
“But there is another urgency before me now. I feel compelled to go to Jerusalem. I’m completely in the dark about what will happen when I get there. I do know that it won’t be any picnic, for the Holy Spirit has let me know repeatedly and clearly that there are hard times and imprisonment ahead. But that matters little. What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God.
