All Knowing God

Psalm 139 New King James Version (NKJV)

God’s Perfect Knowledge of Man

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.

139

O Lord, You have searched me and known me.

You know my sitting down and my rising up;

You understand my thought afar off.

You [a]comprehend my path and my lying down,

And are acquainted with all my ways.

For there is not a word on my tongue,

But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.

You have [b]hedged me behind and before,

And laid Your hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;

It is high, I cannot attain it.

Where can I go from Your Spirit?

Or where can I flee from Your presence?

If I ascend into heaven, You are there;

If I make my bed in [c]hell, behold, You are there.

If I take the wings of the morning,

And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

10

Even there Your hand shall lead me,

And Your right hand shall hold me.

11

If I say, “Surely the darkness shall [d]fall on me,”

Even the night shall be light about me;

12

Indeed, the darkness [e]shall not hide from You,

But the night shines as the day;

The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

13

For You formed my inward parts;

You [f]covered me in my mother’s womb.

14

I will praise You, for [g]I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Marvelous are Your works,

And that my soul knows very well.

15

My [h]frame was not hidden from You,

When I was made in secret,

And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.

And in Your book they all were written,

The days fashioned for me,

When as yet there were none of them.

17

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!

How great is the sum of them!

18

If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand;

When I awake, I am still with You.

19

Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God!

Depart from me, therefore, you [i]bloodthirsty men.

20

For they speak against You wickedly;

[j]Your enemies take Your name in vain.

21

Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You?

And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?

22

I hate them with [k]perfect hatred;

I count them my enemies.

23

Search me, O God, and know my heart;

Try me, and know my anxieties;

24

And see if there is any wicked way in me,

And lead me in the way everlasting.

This scripture is self explanatory in itself. God knows all we do before we do it he knows the all knowing of us. He’s known us since we were in our mother’s womb.

Jesus states in Mathew 26: 21-23

Matthew 26:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

21 Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me.”

22 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?”

23 He answered and said, “He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me.

that one would betray him as he knew that before it came to pass. And in Mathew 26:48&49 the betrayal came to pass as Judah presents Jesus with a kiss as a sign to the people

Matthew 26:47-56 New King James Version (NKJV)

Betrayal and Arrest in Gethsemane

47 And while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.

48 Now His betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him.” 49 Immediately he went up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

50 But Jesus said to him, “Friend, why have you come?”

Then they came and laid hands on Jesus and took Him. 51 And suddenly, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword, struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

52 But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will [a]perish by the sword. 53 Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? 54 How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?”

55 In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me. 56 But all this was done that the Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.”

Then all the disciples forsook Him and fled.

Jesus knows everything about us even before we know he is very observant to our needs but our choices are what decide if we respect and follow him. Think before you make a choice ask your self what would Jesus do? And would this be acceptable and pleasing in respect to God?
