Measures Of Faith

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.

Romans 12:3 NLT

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Romans 12:3 KJV

And because of God’s gracious gift to me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead, be modest in your thinking, and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you.

Romans 12:3 GNT

I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.

Romans 12:3 MSG

I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him. And because of God’s gracious gift to me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Instead, be modest in your thinking, and judge yourself according to the amount of faith that God has given you. Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. God is not looking for kindness or acceptance and he despises hatred and violence he wants honor and love back for what he has done and given to you, to you and I. He wants us to live and think equally. Not praising ourselves thinking we’re better than the other but praising him and being grateful for what he has done to give us freedom and life. It is by the account of your acceptance and actions that God will see you as you are as he wants you to see others and by that he will know the measure of your trueness and faith unto him that is when he will know if you are truly honorable to his gift he gave us.

If we are willing to love first as he himself would and respect and honor him in thanks for what he’s done. For if you are truly honoring to him and respecting and faithful and living in spirit and not in pleasures than you are grateful and faithful, however if you believe you have higher power than God and think that you are more important than he or another than you don’t show God gratitude or respect for your gift he has given you and it doesn’t phase you that you are alive today because he our savior has given you life saving us from death, he has done great things and deserves our honor and respect but if you faulted to do that you are not faithful, you are nothing, you have not learned in honor of putting your master first and respect for him you are unworthy for there is no one better than another or worthy of less or more. We are all accepted and equal in the eyes of God. Not one of us different in judgements we are all worth saving all worth his gifts. In that way we show him true honor and gratitude in all he has done. When we live in the spirit we humble ourselves to let him lead us and be better than us most important of all. We show him respect by not turning on another but living in grace of life. The larger your faith is the more in image we are in likeness to him and the more knowledge of understanding him as a person and savior we have. The more knowledge we have, the larger respect we have to give him in honor. No one is different in him we are all equal.

1 Thessalonians 1 Good News Translation (GNT)

1 From Paul, Silas, and Timothy—

To the people of the church in Thessalonica, who belong to God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:

May grace and peace be yours.

1 Thessalonians 1 The Message (MSG)

1 I, Paul, together here with Silas and Timothy, send greetings to the church at Thessalonica, Christians assembled by God the Father and by the Master, Jesus Christ. God’s amazing grace be with you! God’s robust peace!

Convictions of Steel

2-5 Every time we think of you, we thank God for you. Day and night you’re in our prayers as we call to mind your work of faith, your labor of love, and your patience of hope in following our Master, Jesus Christ, before God our Father. It is clear to us, friends, that God not only loves you very much but also has put his hand on you for something special. When the Message we preached came to you, it wasn’t just words. Something happened in you. The Holy Spirit put steel in your convictions.

5-6 You paid careful attention to the way we lived among you, and determined to live that way yourselves. In imitating us, you imitated the Master. Although great trouble accompanied the Word, you were able to take great joy from the Holy Spirit!—taking the trouble with the joy, the joy with the trouble.

Finish What You Started In Me

When I walk into the thick of trouble, keep me alive in the angry turmoil. With one hand strike my foes, With your other hand save me. Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal—don’t quit on me now.

Psalm 138:8 MSG

The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.

Psalm 138:8 NLT

You will do everything you have promised; Lord, your love is eternal. Complete the work that you have begun.

Psalm 138:8 GNT

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.

Psalm 138:8 ESV

Only you can live your own journey in life though God has made the plans sketched out for them. He will fulfill the plans he has for you. It may take a while but they will be fulfilled in his timings. The lord will never leave or abandon you. For he created you by his own hands and has plans to prosper. His love endures forever

You will do everything you have promised; Lord, your love is eternal. Complete the work that you have begun.

Psalm 138:8 GNT

“Verse 8. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me. All my interests are safe in Jehovah’s hands.

“The work which his goodness began,

The arm of his strength will complete;

His promise is yea and Amen,

And never was forfeited yet.”

God is concerned in all that concerns his servants. He will see to it that none of their precious things shall fail of completion; their life, their strength, their hopes, their graces, their pilgrimage, shall each and all be perfected. Jehovah himself will see to this and therefore it is most sure.

Thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever. The refrain of the former Psalm is in his ears, and he repeats it as his own personal conviction and consolation. The first clause of the verse is the assurance of faith, and this second one reaches to the full assurance of understanding. God’s work in us will abide unto perfection because God’s mercy towards us thus abideth.

Forsake not the works of thine own hands. Our confidence does not cause us to live without prayer, but encourages us to pray all more”

Psalms 138:8

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.”

King James Version (KJV)

God’s Promises

The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.

2 Peter 3:9 NLT

The Lord is not slow to do what he has promised, as some think. Instead, he is patient with you, because he does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants all to turn away from their sins.

2 Peter 3:9 GNT

[ The Day the Sky Will Collapse ] Don’t overlook the obvious here, friends. With God, one day is as good as a thousand years, a thousand years as a day. God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change.

2 Peter 3:9 MSG

When time of fear and tribulations come everyone turns to their faith for answers. Some out of fear others out of thought and concern of the events happening. Though God hasn’t left us his children and broke his promises, on the contrary he is waiting to get as many of us as he can and keep us from death. For you see God doesn’t want time with you just in time of need or fear not even just for answers. God wants us all the time then once he sees people repent and turn back in honor to Him and His timing is right it is then that he will fulfill his promises he made. He wants to give everyone fair opportunity. Then he will make his entrance in a great debut. He doesn’t want our repentance and time only while there is turbulence, but rather he wants us to remember him in everything we do and all we pray. He wants more exposed time with him. There’s nowhere for us to run or hide. For he is the all knowing and God is not set apart from us. You can not run, escaping from the one who laid his life down to set us free that our actions and freedom and there’s no turning away for God sees all and knows all you do in Glory to him. He wants glory and honor due to him at all times so he is trying to give chance for everyone to save all that he can save for his promises to take place. Would you still live in sinful lifestyle and Ignore him if something were providing us with his promises. He will take all that honor him to the. For he is the way! He will take all that honor him in the way he sees prosperous, He is the truth! Those who truly know and honor him will see and know the truth for they have studied God’s lesson plans and teachings. He is the light, he will be the light among the broken path ahead helping others to see. He hasn’t forgotten his promises, he’s only giving us fair opportunity to reach our goals to him to fulfill his promises and save as many souls as he can. You wouldn’t want him to leave you behind because you hadn’t repented from sin out of worship and honor to the earthly law and all its savages but instead you’d want a second Chance in opportunity to refocus. He will go find honor those who already have and help the lost and broken into the light. Then in his time he will perform his promises as promised.

My Grace Is Enough-God

2 Corinthians 12:9 New Living Translation (NLT)

9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 Good News Translation (GNT)

9 But his answer was: “My grace is all you need, for my power is greatest when you are weak.” I am most happy, then, to be proud of my weaknesses, in order to feel the protection of Christ’s power over me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 English Standard Version (ESV)

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 The Message (MSG)

7-10 Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn’t get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan’s angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn’t think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,

My grace is enough; it’s all you need.

My strength comes into its own in your weakness.

Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ’s strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.

Self Sacrifice Is The Way Yo Finding Your True Self

If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.

Matthew 16:25 NLT

For if you want to save your own life, you will lose it; but if you lose your life for my sake, you will find it.

Matthew 16:25 GNT

Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?

Matthew 16:25 MSG

If you continue to live in sin and entertainment of the laws of the world you will loose your life to death but if you give up your life as sacrifice to God and live as a follower believing in he who is salvation shall save his life and gain God’s eternal life. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for? Only in him by giving up entertainment to the world will you gain life.
